In May 2022, I embarked on a journey to Cairns, in Far North Queensland in search of eucalypts in the tropics. During my time in Cairns, I ventured to Thursday Island in the Torres Strait Island and explored the surrounding islands by ferry. From Cairns I made my way down to Southeast Queensland and Brisbane.
